SELHAYA® is honoured to announce Her Regal Majesty Queen Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi as the first Official Royal Patron of the House.
The announcement is marked by Her Regal Majesty wearing The Coronation, a gold crystal and pearl silk piece from SELHAYA’s Royal Collection. Created as a tribute to modern majesty, The Coronation speaks to the Maison’s language of ceremonial silk, quiet splendour and cultural meaning.
Upon accepting the role, Her Regal Majesty shared:

Founded in London by Aisha Hossain and Sajjad Choudhury, SELHAYA® is a British silk Maison rooted in culture, craftsmanship, and legacy. The House works across ceremonial silk garments, private commissions, framed silk artworks and cultural gatherings. The appointment follows Her Regal Majesty’s attendance as Guest of Honour at the inaugural SELHAYA Royal Cultural Salon, held at Mansion House, City of London, on 27 June 2026.
That afternoon introduced the world of SELHAYA through silk, conversation, fashion, art and hospitality. It also marked the beginning of a relationship shaped by shared values: dignity, heritage, women’s leadership, philanthropy and the preservation of culture.
Her Regal Majesty’s public work is closely associated with humanitarian service, women, children, community empowerment and African heritage. Through the Hopes Alive Initiative for Africa, she continues to support causes related to dignity, opportunity, and social impact.
